Join Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and chef Ellie Shortt, in exploring the health risks of eating a diet high in refined sugar and refined carbohydrates, such as cardiovascular disease, mental illness, systemic inflammation, and of course diabetes and its associated precursors. During this class, you will learn about the foods that should be avoided and discuses proper macronutrient ratios for maintaining healthy blood sugar regulation. You will also take a look at some foods that help lower blood sugar and regulate insulin, and most importantly, make a meal together that is both delicious and blood-sugar friendly!
