The spicy, salty and sweet flavours of Thai cuisine pair so well with fresh seafood. Using some very familiar ingredients, and some Asian ingredients that will be less familiar to the home cook, we will cook and enjoy three Modern Thai seafood dishes.
In addition, we will discuss buying seafood on Vancouver Island – what to look for in fresh fish and shellfish, commercial fishing practices, and aquaculture. You will leave feeling confident in your ability to purchase ethical seafood and create wonderful Thai seafood dishes at home.
